Three Greenbriar undergraduate research fellows selected for summer 2024

Northwestern University Transportation Center awarded three Greenbriar Undergraduate Research Fellowships for Summer 2024.  The recipients are Ali Lee (Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences - History and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences), Buck Arney (McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences – Industrial Engineering and Management Science), and Tim Chen (Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences - Mathematics and Economics). Their summer research projects, respectively, are “The Transformation of the American Private Vehicle throghout the 1970s Energy Crisis,” “Consumer Demand for Chicago to New York High Speed Rail Routes,” and “Imagined: Inter Modal Analytics for Green Infrastructure Network Energy Decarbonization.”

The fellowship program was established through a gift from the Greenbriar Equity Group and supports research internships in transportation and logistics for Northwestern undergraduate students.
